I have dozens of responses that I've posted in the past week that show on my dashboard, but not on the post I replied to. None were dismissed, they just don't show. Wtf?

Sounds like you're a victim of the ultimate passive-aggressive tactic on the Internet: The Kinja Ban. If you don't toe the quasi-socialist, anti-American line on many of Mr. Dentons gloriously profitable and offshore account tax shielded media outlets, some journalism washout with a trust fund will make it so you can still post but nobody will be able to read it. All of the benefits of banning someone, none of that pesky dealing with being called out for arbitrary dismissal of opposing points of view. Kind of like what would happen if the Gawkerverse* ever got their way with our society - a tightly controlled world where everyone says they are all happy because if they didn't, they would just go away.
Or it could just be a flaw in this money pit crapbox of a discussion/content management system.
*Jalopnik excluded of course.
